Coaching Others to Love their Differently-Wired Brains

You might really get me if:

• You struggle to sort through the millions of thoughts and ideas and demands that flood your brain every waking moment and some of the not waking ones too.

• You’ve found your phone in the refrigerator. Thank goodness someone called while you were in the kitchen.

• You also had an Aunt Nancy - that person who was always, always criticizing and correcting and then declaring you too sensitive - whose voice you still hear in your head.

• You’ve started the MOST AMAZING CREATIVE PROJECT EVER but can’t seem to finish. Also, you can’t remember if you finished unloading the dishwasher this morning.

• You don’t want to crush your quirks because you know that your differences are some of your best strengths, but you do want to make peace with the ones that derail you.

If any of this resonates with you, you’re my people. I’ve been living with my differently-wired brain my whole life. I’m raising a quirky family. And I’ve been actively studying twice-exceptionality (the intersection of being gifted in one area while having a disability in another) for over a decade.
